Don’t be aroused by my confession. Unless you don’t give a good goddamn about redemption.
Born in the tenth century to Mishna Curcio nee Reznikova and Paolo Curcio. Her mother was extensively addicted to the Dark Arts. Controlling and over-bearing, she murdered her husband in a fit of rage when he asked her to stop using dark magic around Vinna, who was sixteen at the time. Vinna witnessed the event yet felt nothing. However, come her eighteenth birthday, Vinna’s first victim was indeed her mother. Deeming the woman too insane and in the way of her own plans, she committed the unforgivable curse. To this day, her mother’s corpse is pinned to a rock bed off the coast of Russia in the Kara Sea, Gubraithian fire keeping it burning forever. That was only one small act in a growing list. When she was in her late twenties she traveled to Africa, spending nearly a year with one specific tribe. They dubbed her ‘venom’. ‘Eyes of cobra’ is how they described her. Cold-blooded and unblinking. She was taught and achieved her Obia. Her knowledge increased steadily and while her mind aged, the pact she made with the Obia kept her body from doing the same. This would also keep her moving, keep her appearance shifting and it would also bury her birth name. Upon returning to Europe and learning of the union of the four founders, their power intrigued her. Salazar voiced opinions the same as her own. They both desired to see the same world come into being. Godric stood in the way of this. So she focused on him in an attempt to sway him after gaining his heart. But she was unsuccessful. She had already managed to drive a wedge between the four companions and once her true nature was revealed, Godric lead the attack on her. But without Salazar’s help, the three remaining founders were unable to kill her, only to seal her away. Something they thought would be permanent in its own respect. An eternal slumber.

The pressure is building at the base of my spine. If I’ve got to sin to see you again then I’m gonna lie lie lie…
When Voldemort met his final demise in 1998, the sheer impact of magic released in the final battle was enough to crack the shell of the only seal keeping Vinna locked away. Those who knew of her had already long since passed, dying out with the Founders themselves. She, and the threat she posed, had been forgotten. It took a full year for the curse to finally fully break, rousing the sleeping witch back into reality. She had no way of knowing just how long she’d been locked away, just how much time she had lost. Her acclimation was slow, disoriented and weakened. Everything she had ever known in the way she had known it, no longer existed. For twenty years she learned about this new world. The spells and potions that had been created. How modern wizards were dealing with the muggles. Even Voldemort. Her research didn’t just stop with him. But the prophecy, the chosen one, his goals and his followers. In the end, she believed she knew exactly where he went wrong. And how she would not.

Saviors and saints, devils and heathens alike. She’ll eat you alive
Her Wand
Acromantula web core. Using a wand with this core has been illegal in Britain since 1782, after it was discovered that the wielder of an Acromantula web wand has particular ability with Dark magics, especially the Imperius curse.
Hornbeam, or ironwood, is considered to be the most stubborn of wandwoods. Those who have the necessary will to master it will be rewarded with an extremely powerful wand.
Her Obia
Standing at four feet at the shoulders, it is not a small creature. But nor is it bulky. With a broad chest and muscular forelegs, it seems nearly grotesquely shaped with a hunched back and low-set head. It’s waist is narrow and back legs thin, shaped like that of a dogs. It’s tail is thin and whip-like, even making a mimicked sound when it’s feeling irritated. The Obia has no vocal cords. It’s head is nothing but a chalky white animal skull, a twisted mix of horse and dog. It’s body is sheathed in leathery skin, all but a mane of thick black fur around its neck. The hollowed eye sockets glow a dim red, brightening only in increased darkness. An Obia cannot be summoned if there are no shadows. It is most powerful at night. The saliva produced by its tongue is venomous, causing a slow and agonizing death over a matter of days if gotten into the bloodstream. An obia cannot be killed (only vanishing if its master is killed) and is immune to both magic and physical weapons. It has only one weakness.
